He invites you to enjoy a day on the Chesapeake Bay fishing for striped bass, better known as rockfish. Trophy season runs from Spring to early Summer. Fall season starts in late Summer and runs until late Fall. Dates to be announced yearly. There are also many other species available throughout the year. For fishing all modern fishing tackle, spinning rods, trolling rods, fishing lures, weights and hooks, bait and tackle included, fish cleaning is available. Commercial Charter vessel Dawn II will carry a party of six, including children. Larger parties can be accommodated. Safety equipment aboard the boat is fully approved and inspected by the U.S. Coast Guard. While fishing aboard the Dawn II, no individual license is needed. When you call, be sure to ask about season limits, size limits and creel limits on spot, perch, catfish, bluefish and croakers. Other species may also be available, depending on the time of year.
